Playing cleanly! Buzz removal and muffling
Saturday September 30 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Outline: In this workshop we look at how to play cleanly and buzz free on the harp, including a focus on various muffling and dampening techniques. Bring any music that you're working on that you want to make "buzz free".

Harp Technique bootcamp
Saturday September 30 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Outline: This workshop focuses on some of the fundamentals of good technique - scales, chord shapes and progressions, and arpeggios. Plus posture, staying relaxed, and playing without pain. Participants will get a chance for individualized feedback and suggestions.

Playing by ear: harp ensemble
Sunday October 1, 10:00 am- 1:00 pm
Outline: No sheetmusic. Harp players of any levels. And in the end we will have a full harp ensemble.
Starting from a chord scheme, we will find ways of arranging a piece that fits every level. Left hand accompaniments in different patterns and a right hand melody will form a beautiful, unique sound experience.

Organization/Logistics:
The workshops will take place at Harfenmusik Lena Rummel‘s studio in Lindau. Lena helps organizing, but contract partner is Josh Layne. This also means payments will be made directly to Josh upon signing up for the courses. You will get the bank details with your booking confirmation.

Catering
Water, coffee, tea and some light snacks will be available throughout the courses.
Lunch is not included, but orders at the local Lieferando can be made. If the weather is nice we can even sit on the patio for lunch.
Dinner is self-organized. Please tell us if you are interested in having dinner together on Saturday in a restaurant, so we can make reservations.
Language

Cancellation Policy
If for whatever reasons you need to cancel your workshop, we cannot refund you with the admission. If someone else wants to take over your place, please check with us first. We want to make sure the harp playing level fits. We suggest getting an insurance, for instance HMRV.
If Josh needs to cancel the workshop, we will tell you as soon as possible. Admissions will be completely refunded. Costs of accommodation or transport cannot be refunded.
